Anglicare Emergency Services - provides a response team to assist in the event of a major disaster in the community or the region.   The Anglicare Disaster Recovery Team (ADRT) is involved in the recovery process in duties such as the distribution of food and clothing or arranging accommodation.    All members of the ADRT are required to undertake training before they can be accredited and to participate in regular re-training to maintain their membership.

Crisis Care - Emergency assistance is available in the form of food, transport, and caring support.

Helping Hands - This team helps those in need of practical assistance such as gardening, cleaning and shifting furniture.

Home Visiting - of the aged and sick can be arranged by contacting the office on 66280231.

Hospital Visiting - Trained members of the Hospital Visiting Team undertake weekly visits to local hospitals.

LinC (Love in the name of Christ) - A network of volunteers from the local churches work together to provide a range of caring and practical services to members of the Alstonville and Wollongbar communities.

Meals on Wheels - Alstonville church is a participating member of the Meals on Wheels service to the elderly in the community.

Mission Support - An important area of outreach for the church is to support the activities of mission agencies working in Australia and overseas. The Parish pledges a proportion of its annual income to support mission activities.

Anglican Op Shop & Welfare Centre – 1 The Avenue Alstonville
The Op Shop provides recycled clothing and household goods at affordable prices. Pre-used items in saleable condition can be left at the Op Shop – furniture items can be collected by telephoning 6628-8777.
Money raised from sales is directed to supporting charitable works in the community.

Prayer Chain - A ministry of prayer and encouragement for those facing illness, surgery or difficulty. All requests are treated with strictest confidence.

Visiting of local Aged Care establishments - takes place each month.
